Hey guys, I went ans saw this last week. I liked it. I've heard it was poorly reviewed but I think that's because sci-fi fans typically digest character stories in a sci-fi setting. I thought it was a great representation of the common peoples reaction to a sudden alein attack.

I have not seen it yet.
But COME ON this Scientology bullshit Tom Cruise is going thru?? ...and being so bloody vocal about?? I saw him on TV denouncing psychiatry as a Pseudo-Sciene the other day. Does Tom even know what 'pseudo' means??...and whats with Scientologists being so stoked on Sci-Fi....OH RIGHT ....L Ron Hubbard wrote Sci Fi novels. It sure doesn't make me keen on going to see anything with the Cruiser in it.
*i appologize if any scientologists were offended by this post*

I was just releaved to see an alien invasion movie that doesn't involve us winning by way of a TV repair man uploading a virus via a Macintosh. *rage building* ....enhance your calm, enhance your clam.. woo saah woo sah. Okay I'm good.
Anyway, perhaps my standards have been lowered by constant attack from crappy SCi-fi and I'll jump at anything that shows a hint of promise? Or maybe it was a good movie I reccomend seeing it to decide for yourself. And as for Tom and his scientology; anything that get me married to Katie Holmes is okay in my books. Besides, it's not like he wrote or directed the thing. |

Now Busty, that's crazy talk and you know it. Tom Cruise and Scientology can both take a flying fuck at a rolling donut. And please feel free to adjust that sentence to include any figurehead/religion combo... we're all about equality over here. |
